[Christian Daily] Whole-Person Coaching Institute Launches Program Aiming to Train Coaches Who Foster “Holistic Well-Being”

Summary

GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute (GWCI), led by Dr. Lydia Chun, is launching its professional coaching program in February 2025, offering participants the opportunity to earn an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification.

Orientation sessions will be held online on February 3 and 11, and in person on February 15. Participants only need to attend one session, and the first cohort begins on February 25.

GWCI’s philosophy centers on achieving the coach’s own whole-person well-being—integrating body, mind, spirit, and relationships—as the foundation for guiding transformative change in others. The program is led by Dr. Lydia Jeon, a clinical psychology Ph.D., and Dr. Joseph Chun, M.D. It is conducted in Korean and provides the core competencies and CCE courses required for ICF certification through an intensive, practical curriculum that enables participants to quickly apply their skills in the field.

The program is rooted in the Christian faith and is connected with the master’s degree program at Shalem International University, allowing participants to earn academic credits. Training covers various specialized coaching fields, including mental health, life, senior, spiritual, and leadership coaching.
