I'm Dr. Lydia Chun, Dean and Founder of the GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute (GIFT WPCI), and I'm so excited to begin this extraordinary journey with you.
As a clinical psychologist, I have dedicated many years of my career to healing people's minds and lives. With this valuable experience, I now want to bring positive change to more people through holistic coaching education. At GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute, we don't just teach coaching skills, we aim to create authentic leaders who will make a profound difference in people's lives by integrating the well-being of the whole person - body, mind, soul, and relationships.
The philosophy of the GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute begins with the belief that “a coach's journey to holistic well-being must begin with the coach's own journey to holistic well-being before he or she can make a difference in the lives of others.” It is our hope that you will experience holistic healing and growth here, and in the process, grow into a coach who is empowered to positively impact others.

My name is Dr. Joseph Chun. As a medical doctor, I am so excited to begin my journey of learning and growing with you at the GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute.
I have a long history of caring for people's physical health, having trained in pathology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and allergy and immunology, as well as years of medical clinical experience. However, my studies in medicine, psychology, and spirituality have taught me to understand and care for the mind, body, and soul in an integrated way. Now, my passion is to work with you to pursue holistic wellness and growth, and to develop leaders who can share this with others.
At the GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute, we don't just teach you the art of coaching, we provide a holistic education that encompasses body, mind, and spiritual well-being. We believe that coaching is not just a tool to help you achieve your goals, but a powerful tool to drive positive change in your life.

Admission
GIFT Whole-Person Coaching Institute operates an open rolling admission system.
Students can apply at any time of the year, and once accepted, can begin studying on their own schedule.
The admissions process works as follow
1. Submit an application (online application)
- Complete and submit the application.
- The application includes basic demographics, education and work history, faith background, coaching experience, and more.
2. Pay the application fee ($200)
- Pay the $200 application fee through online payment.
- The application fee is an administrative processing fee and is non-refundable.
3. Admissions review and acceptance notification
- After reviewing all submitted documents, we'll conduct an individualized review.
- Once the review is complete, you will be notified individually via email or phone of your acceptance.
4. Enroll in classes
- Successful applicants will receive a list of open courses and a study plan.
- All courses can be taken individually and are flexible enough to fit around a learner's schedule.
